Maison Madame Ilary was born from the great passion for costume and fashion of Ilaria Parente, Madame Ilary, founder of the Maison. Since childhood she dreams of a large atelier and to create costumes for the theater and clothes. After graduating in fashion and costume, she continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in Scenography and Costume. From the first year she had work experience as an assistant to costumes and then as a costume designer in his city, Naples, which will always be a great source of inspiration for her work. Working in ancient tailors she learns the work of the tailor, of the construction and of the tailoring that she finds loving very much. After many experiences she moved to Milan where she attended the fashion designer course and first worked in Brancato tailoring and as costume designer for theater companies until she got to the Teatro alla Scala. At the same time she creates and sells turbans, an accessory she loves very much. A love for this accessory born as a child, having fallen in love with it seeing that of the mother she wore on her wedding day; a white silk turban which today is jealously kept in the Maison. But the dream is to create complete looks, which express and tell a femininity that is not stereotyped or closed within certain limits, and here the clothing line is born. Dresses and turbans, garments made sartorially with an elegantly retro taste, in which the clean lines and the tailored cut are combined with the careful choice of refined fabrics and attention to detail; all in a continuous search for shapes and volumes that look to modernity and leave absolute freedom to creativity. A tailored prêt-à-porter line that is enriched with unique pieces. The woman of Maison Madame Ilary couture is free, modern, original, eccentric … mixes styles to create her own. Maison Madame Ilary couture wants to dress the woman at any time of the day, with garments that do not give up elegance and particularity. The designer, Madame Ilary, ranges from the fashion sector to the theatrical one, combining her own style, passion for handmade, research of materials; the experience of the couturier artist lends itself to the requests of the most demanding customers. In addition to offering her capsule collection, she also produces clothes, theatrical costumes and accessories on request. The dress becomes an expression of one’s being, expresses the personality of the wearer; uniqueness is the most important value that distinguishes us because each woman has her beauty and a different inner world to express. As happens with the theatrical costume, which becomes an aesthetic expression of the character’s soul, this also happens with what we wear in everyday life because it tells us more than we think.
